Richard Rodgers (1902 – 1979) was a giant in Musical Theatre composition. He is best known for his collaborations with two amazing lyricists. The first of these was Lorenz Hart with whom he wrote such musicals as Babes in Arms, Pal Joey and The Boys From Syracuse. His second collaboration became me one of the most successful partnerships in the history of Musical Theatre.
Richard Rodgers & Oscar Hammerstein together wrote the unforgettable Oklahoma, Carousel, The King & I & The Sound of Music to name only a few.
The Songs of Richard Rodgers feature over 40 wonderful tunes including “Some Enchanted Evening”, “Bewitched, Bothered & Bewildered”, “My Romance”, “The Lady Is A Tramp”, “If I Loved You”, “Where or When” & “My Funny Valentine” all linked together with dialogue about the life of this remarkable man.
