HowÂ’s a girl meant to come to terms with the fact that the whole fairytale myth - the Godmother, Prince Charming, the overnight transformation from ugly duckling to beautiful swan was just a cruel hoax?
Damn it.
What a rip off.
And what are the issues facing a young woman these days?
WeÂ’re meant to be worrying about the big ones: body image, date rape and career equality, but could it be that weÂ’re just as concerned with the little stuff? Like, what do you say to the guy whoÂ’s just turned you down? And, how do you tell your mum youÂ’re NOT having sex yet? And do you pretend you like The OC so your friends donÂ’t think you think youÂ’re smarter than them?
