Jon is an aspiring filmmaker, in town for a festival screening of his latest work. Vince, his best friend from high school, makes the trip to see it and visits Jon in his motel room. During the course of the evening, VinceÂ’s real motive for the visit becomes clear as he pushes Jon to admit to the date rape ten years ago of Amy, a girl they both dated at school. After finally confessing, Jon then learns that not only has Vince taped their entire conversation, but he has also invited Amy to join them for dinner that night.

Stephen BelberÂ’s highly acclaimed and internationally renowned work will be staged for the first time in Western Australia by an ensemble originally from Broken Limb Theatre Company.

TAPE is a gritty and suspenseful examination of truth, motive and perception.

You canÂ’t always erase your past.

With Trilby Glover, Richard Kessell and Tom OÂ’Sullivan.
