V-DAY

V-Day is a world wide fundraising performance of THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES designed to raise awareness and funds to stop violence against women and girls. Taking place in some 145 cities around the world, PTC will host the V-DAY event in Perth in 2002. Arising from the hugely popular show THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES, V-Day is a benefit performance where women from all around the world come together with a single cause. In Perth, celebrity women, actors, musicians and dancers will participate in V-Day to raise as much money as possible for the Women's Refuge Group of WA. Incorporating music by the Perth Harmony Choir, exhibitions and displays, V-Day is sure to be a mammoth event and a great night in the theatre.
