"Accommodations" is a three-act comedy by Nick Hall
This play was first performed in New York in 1973.
The Goldfields Repertory Club's production re-locates the action to the Perth metropolitan area.
It is set in the one bedroom Northbridge apartment of an out of work young actress who advertises for new female room-mates in order to add some stability to her life. However, she didn't count on the fact that one of these people had just walked out on her husband and that the other would be a man. Things get even further confused when they try and work out who has to share the bed and then even more so when the abandoned husband turns up to reclaim his wife.
This fast-paced, cleverly scripted comedy will definitely be one worth watching.
Starring (in order of appearance)
William Jones as Tracy
Tanya Strate as Pat
Lisa van Oyen as Lee
Kevin Blair as Bob
The show is being directed by Matt Bolland, who most recently played the part of Algernon in the 2001 production of "The Importance of Being Earnest".
Matt has directed many shows in the past including several of the Goldfields Repertory Club's Christmas Shows.
This show will be produced by the WP Bahd team, which is made up of Matt Bolland, Stuart Fleming and Travis Hooper. This team wrote and directed the 2000 Christmas Show for the club.
