AddressOld Fitzroy Hotel Theatre
Via Dolorosa is a deceptively powerful play that shares the intensely personal stories of the people involved in one of the longest struggles of modern history. David Hare's play is personal and articulate and shares the stories of real people living and working on either side of the Israel/Palestinian struggle.
After its Australian debut at the Festival of Contemporary Arts 5 in October 2001 - Frank McKone of the Canberra Times wrote -
“ Via Dolorosa has humour, weighs all sides equally in the scales of justice, engages our passions yet leaves us to think more clearly than we might expect since September 11. Excellent A++” Canberra Times 2001
Starring the brilliantly talented Patrick Dickson (SeaChange, The Gigli Concert)
