The Alternative Musical Show!
A very funny, fresh new look at those old favourites we love so much, combined with a tilt at the Music Theatre traditions we hold so dear!
Especially compiled and written by Barry Mitchell to celebrate our move to the fabulous new Besen Centre, this show features well known pieces from shows such as Les Miserables, My Fair Lady, Chicago, Annie, Pirates of Penzance and many more ...but with a twist!
Combining the comedic directing skills of Brad Smith, the musical direction and arranging wizardry of Anthony Bingham, the choreographic flair of Craig Wiltshire, the highly experienced and talented cast will have you rolling in the aisles! Nothing is sacred.
Most of us have seen an Awards Presentation show like the Tony's, Academy Awards, Logies or even our own Music Theatre Guild Awards...but now we invite you behind the scenes during the final dress rehearsals of one of these gala events. Witness the drama, egos, backstabbing and conflicts. See the ceremony launch into its final spectacle, with stars a-plenty...and of course, screw-ups to match!!
This is a light-hearted, very entertaining romp for all to enjoy. We look forward to welcoming you to our new venue.
