AddressNIDA Theatre
Now is the time to see actors today that the world will celebrate tomorrow.
NIDA trains AustraliaÂ’s most talented young people to become the some of the worldÂ’s best actors, designers, directors, technicians and crafts people. They have helped Australia become an international leader in the entertainment industry.
NIDA presents
TITUS ANDRONICUS
by William Shakespeare
directed by Helmut Bakaitis
Titus Andronicus is one of ShakespeareÂ’s first plays, and is the work of a young playwright, ideally suited to young actors. Like the Greek and Roman plays Shakespeare admired, Titus is packed full of sex, violence and gratuitous horror, and no doubt influenced the work of contemporary writers like Quentin Tarantino. Titus sits on the knife edge which separates comedy and tragedy.
WARNING: This production contains explicit violence and strobe lighting.
