15 year old requires acting job
Thu, 15 May 2003, 06:18 pmI am 15 years old and love acting, but have not been able to do much of it as of yet. I am wondering how I could get an acting role or if there were any spots available. I live in NSW, it would need to be within the state. Can any one help?

I understand and respect the fact that your trying to make a statement by not spelling your words right...but it just comes across as sounding stupid, and trust me I KNOW STUPID!...Better luck next time.

13 year old wants to be on T.V and Film
At the age of four i wanted to be a ballerina, at the age of 6-7 i wanted to be a gymnast, from the age of nine i have wanted to be an actress and maybe a part time singer. Today i am 13 and still want to be an actress. My friends have already told me that they would be the first people to watch one of my movies. I want to prove to my parents i can accoplish my dreams, like my younger brother who makes it to 'Nationals' for running. I have been attending 'Helen O'Grady Drama Academy' from the age of 11 and i just have begun 'Sydney Talent Company'. I have always wanted to go to Fox Studios to act, but my parents would not allow it because it is much too far away. I hope somebody out there can help me become a famous actress all over the world. After all i dream about it every night, but one day thoses dreams have to come true. I need to start one day.

what the hell is the point!
I am Disgraced by the poor efforts these girls have attempted to be a an actress.
IÂ’m 18 and IÂ’m an actress. Being an actor involves a lot of work and it have nothing to do with how skinny or tanned you are because if you canÂ’t act you wont get @!#$ for work. Doing a few plays at school is not training! You need to go to classes and workshops and work on it everyday if you want to be an actress.
Don’t expect yourself to become famous because you most likely wont but if you really want to be an actress it shouldn’t matter whether you become famous or not. What should matter is when you turn up to an audition you know what your doing and if they tell you to scratch your ass you do it! If you girls really want to be an actress get off you asses and start going to classes then after a few years get an agent. The work is not going to come to you. NO ONE is going to walk up to you in the street and say “oh my god, I’ve just found the leading girl for my new movie”.
Grow a brain and do something about it.

i would realy realy REALY like to be an actress, i just love it so much and i know one day soon,VERRY soon i will be one. i wouldnt even mind doing my own stunts or stuff like that.im flexible i do theatre , my teacher says im a realy good actor. i'v wanted to be a actress in a movie ever since i was little,i love to meet new people, i can draw good, i can learn lines pretty quick i dance and im a quick learner. i love to have fun and goof around sometimes but if you need a skinny-type peson then i woldnt be much good ^_^. but please give me a chance =]

Hi my name is Sebastian. Im 15 years old from Melbourne. I too want to be a Famous actor like all the other people that have posted. I read that post that said to do something about it and i have. Ive joined a acting agencie called real people victoria. They done a photoshoot and asked me to set up a port folio. After paying $200 for the registration fee and another $250 for the photo shoot, they didnt evan get me 1 audition. So this is a warning to everyone dont fall into a acting angencie that wont evan get you auditions. I have done school plays and i am starting a very expensive drama course in winter.

I wanted to act since I was eight years old it was always my dreams. Heres a 'lil about me- Im twelve years old. I love playing sports such as Volleyball and Basketball. Im in love with music... Hey, My names Claire. I live in Kent and I love acting, singing,dancing. I dont know about me being good at singing but i know i can act.. well hopefully I can anyway. My familiy is always calling me Drama Queen because im always going on about being an actress and just acting infront of them because im bored. As soon as the Harry Potter films came up i was convinced i could be Hermonie Granger ( Emma Watson). I have been interesting in acting before that and especially now. Whatsup this is the one and only kk in the house. i am from that atl.Ga and i am majorly ethusiastic.i love to act and all my friends and family think... no, let me rephrase that they know i can act. I just need that big break and i know i'll set it off. thanks
