will people please stop advertising themselfs on the forums

please. people like me and others come on this site to find Auditions. If somebody needs someone for a play they will advertise... do you think that they only want to audition one person? If you want to be in something then just check the forums again.

Or could someone make another forum just so people can advertise themselfs and people who are trying to find work can do it easier.

please don't leave comments on this thing cause im sure people dont want to see this every time they log on... Thanks anyway

Well, there are two issues there - one is that there is no real way of stopping young people from signing up and using the site. (Yes, you can use those 'are you under the age of..' requirements when you sign up, but then, you don't need to sign up to use this site. You also don't have to read the info before checking the box, and there's no way to check if someone's lying). Second is that how do you moderate those posts? Delete the text? Edit the text? That's unfair to those people who post, in earnest, but without realising that giving out too much info is wrong. It's very much a blurry area of internet policy. Having been a high user of the Blogging service, I didn't even think of this as an option. DOH!

Yes, using the Blog Service to introduce yourself is a great idea. While it appears on the Recent postings (hey, you want it to appear somewhere) it will not *clog* the forums themselves.

The whole point of this comment was to stop people from making comments that people dont need from being shown... I have read every comment and thanks David i do agree it wasnt my place but the rest of the comments were private convosations that have nothing to do with the topic.

anyway nevermind i guess im just in a bad mood
