Film Scripts Wanted

I am currently accepting submissions of scripts for short films, feature films & TV Series. Will be selecting one of these film scripts for production within 12-18months. Any aspiring script writers who would like to submit one of their pieces should email to digi_filmprod@hotmail..com

The scripts need to be in Winword or PDF format, well written & detailed. As the producers and film directors are very busy and in order to enhance your chances to be selected we would strongly recommend you to send via email in SCREENPLAY format with a synopsis and plot outline as only these will be looked at and most probably accepted. Tips: when you will write or submit your script please consider budget restraints, as it is very costly to make a production due to current financial crisis and due to restrictions such as rights to the story & location permits and also the high costs involoved to pay everyone (cast & crew) hire of props etc. So please limit the filming location, number of actors and props to a very few number.

For immediate consideration here is what we are urgently seeking for the 2009-2010 productions:

1. short films scripts (drama, thriller, romance)- crime, psychological

Hint: seeking an indoor environment scene for either a drama, a thriller or a romantic or family short, the shoot to take place in a typical one house or apartment scene type setup, low budget & location affordability. Film noire is welcome. Co-writers welcome to apply. Please submitted a synopsis and plot with the script, your contact details and address so we can send you a scratchie or a lotto ticket for your effort ;-)

2. feature scripts (thriller, drama, romantic)

Hint: currently seeking a script similar to "The Devil Wears Prada" but "fashion" not to be its primary focus. Instead we would like to look at a perfume company (or beauty product range). Co-writers welcome to apply. Please submitted a synopsis and plot with the script, your contact details and address so we can send you a scratchie or a lotto ticket for your effort ;-)

3. TV series (15min lengths)

Hint: currently seeking a script for a soapie series

similar to Bold and the Beautiful but "fashion" not be as the major topic. Instead we would like to look at other topics in other industries, such as:

a. either mining (uranium or gold as core topic, lesser extent iron ore)

beverage manufacturing - eg: beer as its main focus OR

b. perfume industry (a fragrance quality or industry competition as a topic)

c. or food industry related script (has anyone seen "The Ramen Girl"? I am dying to have an Italian pasta script similar to that movie - we are currently discussing with a company owner to make a movie about a Sicilian Pasta Maker - a storyline, commedy where an Asian girl want to learn how to make italian pasta and wants to make it the number one food in her own country...wherever that might be.

4. An action packed movie - storyline takes place in a capital city in one of the states in Australia (t be advised) with a girl backpacking in Asia (possibly Malaysia in KL or Bali) gets caught in a web of intrigue with a fellow compatriot and local triad, a European backpacker comes to the rescue. Some martial arts fight scenes can be used as we are currently working out a deal with a stunts co-ordinator and actors well known to Malay TV audience. Use your imagination but something on to do with I.T. is welcome (seen Notebook or Hacker?) or something like meeting on the internet (date web site) or Cybercafe etc.

It is possible that due to other commitments we may not be able to answer to your email very quickly, but we would love to read your (story) scripts, as soon as possible. Please submitt a synopsis, plot together with the script, give us your contact details and address so we can send you a scratchie or a lotto ticket for your effort. Thanks in advance I know its not easy to write a play or a scriopt and just want reward your effort (btw: if you win a million don't forget us ;-) we would love to turn your script into a movie ;-)

In our productions, we'd very much use the  KISS formula - keep it simple stupid if that says anything at all.

Note! please mention if you are willing to co-write with somebody else if you have someone else on your mind then let us know. We would encourage a team working evironment between writer/playwright as it is virtually almost impossible to work with one person, as a company procedure we need to have back up and need to be able to grant the right to someone else to help us finish the work we started in cases such as: if the original writer falls sick or must join another production for whatever reason. We dont want to waste anyones time and money while producing a movie.

So, feel free to send them in via email. We won't make a promise or offer you a bargain that we cannot keep but I must assure you that your effort will be rewarded, one way or another. the least we could to is to direct the script to other producers (local & international) who we think that would be interested in your work. Everyone who'll send in a script will get a scratchie! Thank you for your interest. Looking forward to reply back to you.
