"Walk on the Wild Side" with Bellingen Playback Theatre Co.

Pull on your sturdy boots or strap on your heels, whichever your preference let's step over that often invisible boundary and 'Walk on the Wild Side'. Bellingen Playback Theatre Co. invites you to their next public performance to Explore for Treasures found in the untamed, uncivilized, uncontrolled, disordered, overgrown, and rampant reaches of Life. This Special Expedition will be led by the Conductor who facillitates the sharing of experiences, dilemmas or events from the lives of the Audience Members (relax – you don't have to tell), thereby creating a Map of sorts. The intrepid actors and musician spontaneously play back the stories, i.e. bravely follow the Map, using various dramatic techniques including improvised dialogue, movement, song, and dance. You will be led, via Storytelling, into the unique landscape of Improvised Theatre. Who knows what Magnificent Riches may be found on this Journey of Re-discovery.
