PAC Screen Workshop is entering its 17th year of operation in 2009. We have just uploaded all our new dates to our website: www.screenworkshop.com.au Courses: PAC Screen Workshops Bring together professional actors, screen directors and writers wishing to deepen their understanding of the craft of creating screen drama. Together they explore techniques and working methods for generating dynamic screen performances. PAC SWS1 – Introduces participants to the aspects of Stanislavski’s system which are particularly relevant to screen direction, writing and acting. ‘Tricks of the trade’ are shared and a practical understanding of terminology used, protocols and demands of working on set is given during the 6 weeks. PAC SWS2 – is a follow-on advanced workshop for those who have completed SWS 1. Here participants learn to extend their skills further whilst working at ‘film speed’. Specific challenges are set and each series has a particular theme. PAC Acting for Stage This hugely popular weekly PAC Acting for Stage class is held Monday evenings from 7 - 9:30pm over 6 weeks. These lessons are taught by experienced professional actor director, and playwright Noel O'Neill. Suitable both for those with experience and beginners, this course is great for developing, brushing up and honing your skills as an actor. The 6 week evening course costs $225. The course is tremendously popular and has limited places so enrol now. PAC Voice Class PAC WEEKLY VOICE CLASSES - NEW INNOVATION - LEARN HOW TO USE YOUR VOICE TO MAKE MONEY! AS WELL AS LEARNING AN EFFECTIVE WARM UP FOR YOUR VOICE AND BECOMING AWARE OF AREAS OF WEAKNESS THAT YOU NEED TO WORK ON, YOU WILL ALSO HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY WITHIN THIS 6 WEEK EVENING COURSE TO LEARN SOME INDUSTRY 'SECRETS' ON HOW TO MASTER THE CRAFT OF VOICE OVERS FROM TEACHER AND VOICE OVER ARTIST JAMES HAGAN. THIS WILL INCLUDE A SESSION IN A VOICE RECORDING STUDIO. AN INVESTMENT OF ONE EVENING PER WEEK FOR 6 WEEKS COULD PAY OFF IF YOU ARE ABLE TO TAP INTO THIS LUCRATIVE FIELD. LIMITED PLACES AVAILABLE.
