Folk Actors

Just to let you know the best acts I've seen perform in the street as though they were on stage. The way a burlesque performer does these things (for all the scholars of Brecht or Marceau, and there'll be HEAPS, I can tell you that,) lets the audience in via a window in their mind. I've been looking for a way to shake up the local scene which is too bogged down in black comedy to bother dabbling in pantomime and it's awesome, there's an estabslihed and stagnant folk, indie art scene and that's it. Nothing changes and people contnue to act and paint as though it is a hobby you take up. There is theatre, live, in Bendigo and reasonably priced tickets. It's a long way from acting for fun to arranging a performance.
