Stage Combat - the Good, the Bad and the Deadly

I am planning on writing up a Personal Point of View on Stage Combat - Does and Don'ts. Much of what I currently have is from personal training, experiences and from working with industry professionals such as Andy Fraser.

I would also like to colour the document with personal experiences both from myself and from others and to that end, I ask and invite all readers to submit, either by adding comments, or through private email, personal stories and experiences in stage combat.

It can be from the extremely simple grab and tackle type stuff right through to sword play and even gun handling. All postings will be acknowledged in the final document unless you specify that you require anonymity.

I also strongly suggest that you avoid using actual names or specific details that may potentially slander or defame another individual. The focus should be on the technical aspects of the scene not those involved.

I reserve to right to include or exclude submissions based on content and relevance, however I will inform all of any decision I make in that regards, and as stated above, all included material will be clearly acknowledged in the final document.

I plan to publish a finished product onto this site along with possible submissions to theatrical magazines and newsletters.
