more time or less time ................

It’s weird how we are always counting down time. Rushing around to be on time, making sure we are on time, sometimes wishing for less time. And yet when we draw close to our final time, we wish we had more time left. I suppose, ironically, if we counted the time we wanted more time or less time and times we were early or wasted time, then the time we finish up with would have been more time and more enjoyable time, rather than a time when we wished we had more time. Perhaps it would be more fitting if clocks counted backwards, rather than forwards. Then at least we would know how much time we had left. False Hope Prologue By Peter Clark
