PPI hit the mark six weeks faster than it did in 2007, thanks to blockbuster summer films, chiefly Iron Man and Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull. Iron Man, Paramount's first release with Marvel Studios, kick-started the summer season on May 2 and has gone on to generate $210m for PPI territories and $250m in total internationally.
