Discussion on method acting..

I was just wondering if anyone thought that using the 'method technique' and studying it makes the actor more profound and convincing in his/her performance? does anyone think it is more professional? Succesfull actors such as; Marlon Brando, Angelina Jolie, Rosario Dawson, Al Pacino...have studied method acting, and in every single one of there films, the performance turns out to be atleast golden globe or oscar considered. whats your say? please comment...
