Auditions! Male and female actors aged around 20-25

Doorslam’s first and up and coming production of The Underwood is written and directed by Vanessa Cole. It is set in the Australian outback, specifically at a small clearing in the middle of the dense bush. A torched car sits waiting to be found after having been abandoned many years ago. When a group of young friends enter this place, their world is turned upside down. This new Australian play is an incite into young people, the dynamics between a group and how this breaks down under a series of layering conflicts. It explores the real and the surreal, taking its audience on a journey through laughter, fear, hope and betrayal. This thriller delves into the human fear of the unknown, death and rebirth, coping mechanisms and the need to work together through obstacles. Auditions will be held Wed 26th March for "The Underwood" premiering at Theatre Works in St Kilda 12th - 21st June. We're looking for a cast of 3 men and 5 women between the ages of 20 and 25 for a two week season.
