Building A Bay Window
Wednesday 31 October 2007
Today I (with the help of my wife) started construction on a Bay Window for Quality Street @ The Garrick Theatre, WA. It requires two main elements. Firstly it is a seat-bay-window with flip-lid seats. It also needs to a single unit so that it may be removed for one of the acts.
Rather then writing a series of lengthly blogs on the ITA Web site which is currently experiencing a large number of bloggers (good to see), I have instead blogged the construction on my Yahoo! 360 Blogger site.
As a little bit of background, some of my crew had already built a bay window but I was not particularly happy with the final product. So I arranged time to have a crack at it myself. After all, as the director, I should have a clear idea of what it is I want. How much of a carpenter I turn out to be remains to be seen.
If this little project interests you in the slightest way, then I suggest you take a trip to my Yahoo! 360 site for a quick look see.
