A Guide for Newbies - Building one - Assistance Called for!

Recently, in case you hadn't noticed, there has been a sharp increase in the number of newbie postings onto the ITA. Many of you that have commented on then have shown a universal level of annoyance and frustration, even some of our more patient members.

I have the plan to set up a section especially for New People and request your assistance in doing so. Help me troll through the ITA and the Net for the best bits of advice and direction that any new person might require when joining this Forum.

This information is not to replace the current FAQs (if you are not familiar with these, then I suggest a quick read through), it will supplement them and be tailored specifically for new people.

When you find a good posting, either provide a link to it or repost in reply to this Blog. Together we can make the definitive First-timer Guide to Theatre.

As a suggestion and a starting point, here are some thought;

Links to the FAQ in general
Links to specific FAQs (such as Finding an Agent, information on the MEAA, etc)
