PERTH STOMP WORKSHOP- Physical Theatre Intensive

PERTH STOMP Ankoku Buyo Collective brings the sell out Physical Theatre training intensive to Perth again, led by Lynne Bradley, Founder Zen Zen Zo Physical Theatre Company. Western Australia’s leading physical theatre company Ankoku Buyo collective and Zen Zen Zo Physical Theatre Company are bringing to you the nationally acclaimed PERTH STOMP intensive for the second time in Perth. It is a sought after workshop and sold out twice in 2012. The workshop will take place from 10 – 14 June 2013 at Edith Cowan University, Mt Lawley, headed by Lynne Bradley with Jay Emmanuel as the assistant instructor. The week-long Stomp intensive training will introduce performers, directors and teachers to the exciting physical actor-training techniques of Butoh, the Suzuki Method and the Viewpoints. Perth Stomp will take the participants on a journey of transformation, both personally and professionally, as we investigate the ingredients of “extra-ordinary theatre” in a rigorous, fun and challenging environment.
