FRANKENSTEIN created by the multi-award winning FRACTAL THEATRE PRODUCTIONS will be staged at Brisbane’s oldest functioning theatre the BRISBANE ARTS THEATRE from May 3 to 18. Adapted from Mary Shelley’s original by Brenna Lee-Cooney, with original music by Eugene Gilfedder and dynamic choreography by Brian Lucas, this TOTAL THEATRE experience promises to be the gothic highlight of Brisbane Theatre for 2013! FRACTAL has assembled a stunning multi-talented cast able to combine and seamlessly interweave the disciplines of dance, mime, text and song into a dramatic and unforgettable theatre experience. Featuring Cameron Hurry as the Monster, Andrew Lowe as Frankenstein, Zoe de Plevitz as Frankenstein’s fiancé and the ‘corpse-bride’, Johancee Theron as the faultless maid Justine condemned to torture and death, Thomas Yaxley as Frankenstein’s guileless friend enraptured by Eastern mysticism, Jacob Paint as the Ship’s Captain bearing witness to the tale of horror, and Eugene Gilfedder as the father of FRANKENSTEIN With original music performed by Imogen Gilfedder-Cooney and Deanna Connolly (Violins), Set Design by Chancie Jessop and Lighting Design by Geoff Squires; FRACTAL THEATRE PRODUCTIONS creates the gothic nightmarish world of Shelley’s FRANKENSTEIN.
