PERTH INTERNATIONAL BURLESQUE FESTIVAL

FIVE FROLICKING DAYS OF FUN PERTH is set to sizzle when 40 international, national and local performers take to the stage as part of the inaugural Perth International Burlesque Festival from May 23 to 27, 2012. Presented by Sugar Blue Burlesque, this is the first annual international festival of burlesque cabaret, circus and variety in Perth - it is designed to entertain and tease audiences over five frolicking days of fun and games. The line-up comprises five international artists from the United Kingdom, France and New Zealand, 15 interstate artists and 20 local performers including Agatha Frisky, Cecile Mimieux, Iskra Valentine, Kitty Litteur, Lola Cherry Cola, Roxie Sparkles, Ruby Slippers and TuLuLa Lollipop. The jam-packed festival includes a twisted take on life-drawing with UK burlesque artiste Missy, the Burlesque Battle, a neo-Burlesque feast, parties, a Glitter, Garters & Tease Show and a Retro Market, with door prizes at each event.
