ACTING TECHNIQUE CLASSES Study the dynamic new techniques that will revolutionise your approach to performance. The Actors Studio Australia’s unique process draws together techniques from international master teachers including Sanford Meisner (The Meisner Technique), Lee Strasberg (The Method), Constantin Stanislavsky and others. Our step by step approach equips students to harness the raw power of real emotion, personal life experience and honest communication to create a vivid sense of truth on stage or screen. Our weekly technique classes offer progressive training for actors of all levels seeking to enhance and improve their skills, technique and process. Classes offer a detailed examination of your individual skills, identifying weak areas, building keys skills and developing your overall process step by step. Our classes are strongly focused on authenticity and honesty, teaching actors to allow their performance to originate from a powerful place of personal truth. All classes utilize a combination of exercises, dramatic improvisation and text work. Advanced classes also incorporate on-camera work. Enrolment is on a per term basis (7 weeks at a time). - Experienced actors – Mondays 6.15pm-10.15pm (by application) - Mixed levels – Thursdays 6.15pm-10.15pm (open enrolment) - Term 3 classes commence 5th June. 2011.
