Casting websites

Hi, I need some advice please:) I am an actor currently signed with an agent and a member of several casting websites. On one of these websites(I won't name it but one of the well known ones) I had paid full subscription for last year and when I went to add my showreel recently and had trouble doing so, I contacted them. When I got in touch with someone they told me that my account had been inactive for the entire year of 2010. Even though I could log in and upload my pictures and resume etc. I was wondering if anyone has knowledge on how the breifing system works on these websites. Does the agent recieve breifs that match the descriptions of their clients? Or do they actively search the casting website for jobs, with their clients in mind. If i know how it works, I will know that my agent had not been submitting me for anything via this particular casting website for an entire year! and that is not a good sign. I guess my question is....Should I be worried that my agent didn't realise that my account with this major casting website wasnt working for a whole year? or is it simply bad luck? Thanks:)
