Make up artist work experience

Hi, I am am a Qualified beautician and make up artist and I'm looking for experience in doing make up for stage shows and productions or anything really. i have experience doing Formals, weddings and glamour make up, but looking to build my portfolio. Can anyone tell me the best way to go about getting some work experience? Thankyou in advance.
