Convicts For A Cause:

From Left to Right: Madelaine Page, Nick-Pages Oliver, Chloe Flockhart, Elliott Cook, Alejandra Ayala, Shiloh Blondel, Sean Conway, Brianna Williams & Ian Greenwell

Tuesday 30th November marked an important day for Ellandar Productions and the combined charities of Cystic Fibrosis Western Australia, MS Society of W.A, Polio Plus: Rotary International & The Global Good Foundation as we united in the charity event “Convicts For A Cause“.

The event is a large scale fundraiser for the work of the four aforementioned charities, and as the money kept piling in, Ellandar Productions and their actors were there to support the donations and entertain the guests, nothing like some theatrical movement to keep people entertained, Ellandar presented an original play based on the Fremantle convict Frederick Bailey Deeming to the live audience and then proceeded to engage in roving roleplays involving actors as convicts and policemen from 1800′s colonial Australia.

A huge thanks must go to Cara Templeman of Changing Faces MakeUp who helped turn our actors into upstanding policemen or scummy convicts! Also a HUGE congratulations and thanks to, Jarrad Brown a man passionate for the cause, who had great faith in Ellandar Productions and hired us to provide the entertainment for which turned out to be one of the MOST successful “Convicts For A Cause” in recent years.

We would like to collectively thank ALL those involved for a tremendous success and a fantastic night! See our photostream at Flickr for more photos of the evening courtesy of Cystic Fibrosis W.A and photojournalist, John Schreiber.
