Virtues of Voting

No, I am not talking about Government Elections. I am talking about the power of voting on this very site. Is it just me, or is no-one (but me) voting for articles?

I continue to see the same articles on the main page, which can only mean that no article, more recent than that already there has been voted into Prime Time, which implies that no-one is voting.

After all, it takes only a few votes to promote an article to the front page and I am certain that most if not all of the Moderators on this site of which there are quite a few have the ability to do so. So why is the same article persisting on the main page for months on end?

Come on guys. Voting is not hard. Vote a few articles Excellent every no and then, thos that would benefit from Front Page Exposure. Those that would be a really GOOD Read.
