Where have all the muses gone?

I'm a little disappointed that apparently so many people lament the dearth of musicals in production, however apparently no-one wants to put in the effort to workshop one that will DEFINITELY be produced. My musical - The Merry Go Round - will be workshopped with a view to being produced later in 2010. I have posted previously, and have had little response. It's not all about the bellowing and chest beating you know. There's heaps of work that goes in beforehand - we want to put on a quality performance, with a quality script and quality music, but I can't do it all on my own. So please, Perth people, if you have a spare couple of hours on Saturday 24th Oct, wander your way down to the Stirling Theatre and offer your two cents worth on a project that is going to benefit so many. Profits from the production will be returned to the Mental Health Community, and has the support of the Rotary Club of Hillarys and the Stirling Theatre. And if you would like a copy of the script prior to the workshop, give me a hoy. Another thing - Stirling Theatre is unable to host the production (as they are holding a 6-season year in 2010) so does anyone have any suggestions for venues at (a) low or nil cost and (b) that hold 100+ people? Can your theatre assist?
