Lucy Eyre was a Workshop Leader at Interact '02 and Barking Gecko Theatre Company and is now offering classes at The Blue Room Theatre in Northbridge. The 20th Century Dramatists course lasts for 8 weeks, every Monday night, 7.00pm-10.00pm, from 22 July to 9 September.
This course is for anyone who would like to gain a knowledge and appreciation of some of the most significant dramatists and their plays, either to fulfil an interest in this area or to learn what many of your fellow thespians already know.
As a group we shall read the plays of such wonderful dramatists as Arthur Miller, Tennessee Williams, Debbie Isitt, Caryl Churchill and Louis Nowra. We will discuss the characters, dramaturgy and era in which they were written in order to gain a deeper understanding of the plays and dramatists who awaken and excite audiences worldwide.
Course cost: $160 for 8 weeks - 3 hours per week.
