MALE URGENTLY NEEDED !
We are seeking a male actor to fill a vacant role in our production of the comedic adventure LORDS AND LADIES, currently in rehearsal. The production involves Witches and Wizards, Young Goth Teenagers pretending to be Witches, A Royal Wedding, Strange Crops Circles, Bees and the biggest threat Discworld has ever faced . . Elves!
If you know the works of author Terry Pratchett (sort of a cross between LORD OF THE RINGS and MONTY PYTHON), then you know the sort of thing you'll be letting yourself in for, but feareth not if you have never heard of the guy - this production is gonna be big (a cast of 29), a lot of hard work, but also a lot of fun.
The role up for grabs is JASON OGG, the local blacksmith and leader of the Lancre Morris Men, so we need a suitably stocky and enthusiastic actor to fill the shoes and apron of the best worker in iron on Discworld.
LORDS AND LADIES will be performed at the Hayman Theatre, Curtin University, Wednesday to Saturdays 10, 11, 12, 13 July and 17, 18, 19, 20 July, 2002.
