LORDS AND LADIES is a comedic adventure of Witches, Wizards, Mysterious Stones, Gothic Teenagers Wanting To Be Witches, Crop Circles, A New Queen Knowing Nothing Of Queening, A Famous Dwarf Lover, Mighty Battles, Romance, Intrigue, Adventure, Morris Dancers . . . and the Biggest Threat Discworld has ever faced . . . ELVES!!! Yes, this beautiful race of folk turn out to be not very nice at all. Forget what you think you know about elves. These ones are brutal and scheming. And they plan to take over the world. Can they be thwarted? Everyone seems to be under their enchanting spell . . .
There are over 25 roles up for grabs in this fun adaptation of Terry Pratchett's epic novel, so we need lotsa people! And people of all ages. There are several main roles, lots of supporting characters, and those in the chorus of Elves or Villagers will also have a featured character role. Yes, LORDS AND LADIES has more interesting characters than you can poke a magic wand at.
AT THIS STAGE, AUDITION PLACES ARE FILLING UP, BUT WE ARE STILL IN NEED OF MORE MALES FOR THE PRODUCTION.
SO, CALL US TODAY, OR IF YOU KNOW OF SOMEONE WHO SHOULD BE INTERESTED, THEN GIVE 'EM A GENTLE PROD AND GET 'EM TO CALL US.
PERFORMANCES will be after Easter 2002. REHEARSALS commence late January 2002. These will be 1-2 nights per week, depending on the role and people's availability, but Sundays are a MUST for all. We are currently negotiating a good (fairly central) venue. More details will be available at, or nearer, the AUDITIONS.
CREW are also needed for the production. From Stage Manager, to Costumes to Publicity to Special Effects. So if you're interested in this, then give us a call and have a chat with us.

SATURDAY 8th and 15th DECEMBER
SUNDAY 9th and 16th DECEMBER
Last year we had over 40 people audition for WYRD SISTERS, so for LORDS AND LADIES, you might want to book your audition early to get the time that suits you best.
Auditionees do not need to prepare anything. We will be booking people in for an hour block of up to four people and getting them to read for a variety of roles. You don't have to be a Terry Pratchett fan to enjoy this production, so we welcome all to auditions.
We are looking for talented, enthusiastic, sociable folk with a good sense of humour and a professional attitude to their work. Sound like you? Then come on down!
