FAMILIARISATION NIGHT is NOVEMBER 8th, commencing at 7.30 pm, at St.Peters HAll, (cnr. Albert & Octavia Streets), Mornington.
Parents are warmly encouraged to attend, and it is not necessary for prospective junior cast to attend.
AUDITION BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL AND WILL OPEN AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE FAMILIARISATION EVENING. ADDITIONAL BOOKINGS MAY BE MADE BY SPEAKING TO VAL HARDIE on [AH] 59770347, after November 8th.

Prospective Junior Cast audition-
(aged 13 and under)
*Juniors will be auditioned in a group; they will be asked to be involved in a simple sequence, demonstrate that they can follow instructions, and either individually or in a group, sing a verse from a song suitable to their age.
*Junior auditionees need to be dressed in comfortable clothing, and will audition in bare feet. Parents will be asked to mind their shoes in the waiting area.
*Children will ideally be auditioned in three age groups - 13 and under
- 9 and under
- 6 and under.
*Auditionees will be required for 40 minutes max.
Please note: Junior cast will not be required during the school holidays. The first rehearsal will be the FIRST SUNDAY IN FEBRUARY. Information will be sent to you regarding organization prior to this date.
Prospective Senior Cast
(aged 14- 21)
*Auditionees are asked to choose a song of their choice – and are required to provide either sheet music, (in the key they wish the music to be played), or a backing tape, with NO VOCALS on the track. Auditionees need to ‘warm up’ before they come into the audition, and they will be allowed to present the BEST 16 BARS of their song only. It is warmly advised that auditionees know the words to their song.
*If auditionees intend to try for a principal role, they will be invited to perform a ‘cold’ reading at this audition. If only requiring a Chorus role, auditionees will not be required to read.
The dance audition will be held separately; it will be of a maximum 1 Hour, and in a group. Do not wear restrictive clothing, and ensure footwear is suitable for movement, (you also may be asked to dance in bare feet).
*The first rehearsals for the Senior Cast will be:
PRINCIPALS -Friday, November 23rd commencing at 7.30pm
ALLSENIOR CAST –Sunday, November 25th, commencing at 1.30pm
*Any Call-backs will be scheduled between 5 –7 p.m. on Sunday, November 18th.
