The play is a a comedy for mature audiences. It won the Olivier Award for the best new play in 2000.
Three sisters meet on the eve of their mothers funeral. the conflicts of the past converge, everyday lies and tensions reveal the patterns and strains of everyday family relationships.It combines a flair for witty dialogue with a relish for the dynamics of theatre.
Required: 4 women, 2 men
Characters:Mary 39, Vi her deceased mother aging from 40+ to late 70's, Teresa daughter mid 30's, Catherine early 30's
Mike, Mary's lover 40's, Frank, Teresa's husband mid 40's
