Class Act wants to get you "Hooked"

Class Act is holding auditions for the school show “Hooked”. The show will tour Perth from October 15 - November 9 (daytime performances) with the possibility of a two week tour after the metro school season. Four actors are required and these actors need to be flexible as they change roles to accommodate several characters in the show.

Hooked is a play that discusses the issues of substance abuse, smoking, peer pressure, being yourself, coping with problems and friendship using rock music, song, dance and drama. The show was written by Angelique Malcolm and is directed by Paula Phythian and Allan Mathiasch.

The central characters are:

Wendy - (also playing TonyÂ’s Dad, Danni) female, 18 - 30 years

Peter - (also playing, Mr Hook drug dealer, TonyÂ’s Mum, Kylie and a boy) male, 18 - 30 years

Tony - (also playing a teacher Mr Lost, Kylie) male, 18 - 30 years

Ms Bell - (playing teacher of Wendy, Peter and Tony) female, 25-55 years


We're seeking experienced actors with the ability to sing and/or play an instrument. The rehearsals will start September 2 and own transport is necessary.

This is a great opportunity for paid acting work. Actors will be paid per performance and additional funds for the usage of own transport as well as the costs of touring are available.

Auditions will be held at the Blue Room on Sunday August 19 from 10 am - 4 pm and Monday August 20 from 6 pm - 10 pm.
