As the country counts down towards another federal election....

Don't miss your chance to perform in this revival of David Williamson's 70's smash comedy Don's Party.

Set on election night October 1969, Don's Party exposes the hypocrisy of the permissive society of the period and explores the character of the middle-class "radical", impotent in the face of another win by a conservative government.

Gutsy, rude, crude, vulgar and ultimately quintessentially a window on the period, Williamson's unflattering portrait has delighted audiences across three decades.

Plenty of great, juicy roles available! Six male, five female. A range of ages from 20-45.

If you don't know the play, do yourself a favour and get it out at your local library. Failing that, track down the movie based on the play.

Auditions on Sunday 24th June 2001 at the Bradley Studio, behind the Octagon Theatre at the University of WA.

The season runs 31 August - 16 September in the Dolphin Theatre.
