Scoomber productions requires 2 female and 1 male actor from Sydney to make a 7 minute movie to be entered into the Billabong short film festival. "Basically in the barrel" is a story about a girl Julz who has a deep passion for surfing. Yet her footy playing boyfriend doesn't understand and always complains that she doesn't spend enough time with him. Julz's best friend Celeste isn't that supportive either. And is too busy thinking about who her next boyfriend will be. What will Julz do? Keep her boyfriend happy? Or follow her dreams?
