Synopsis: A fast moving and witty comedy. Shy statistician Leonard receives repeated rejections for his books until he submits a novel to 'Love Is All Around', a feminist publishing house, under the pseudonym 'Myrtle Banbury'. To seal the deal Leonard must assume the identity of 'Myrtle', and in doing so he falls in love with Harriet, but not without some "help" from Dee Dee and Gus!
This production will be performed on the one night only because it will be done in Anonymous Theatre style - the actors rehearse individually with the director, and do not know who the other actors are until the curtains open for the actual performance. The identity of the actors is kept completely confidential throughout the rehersal period. This is a very exciting form of theatre, premiered in Australia by Beaumaris Theatre in 2005.
