The antics of the original Don's Party took place in a Melbourne suburb in 1969. Now, 41 years later, Don decides to host another election night party.
It is now 2010 - Gillard versus Abbott. We all know how this turns out.
As with the previous play, Don Parties On is less about the politics and more about the relationships of those attending the shindig.
Did Don ever write his novel?
Why did Mal and Jenny divorce?
Which of the former staunch left-wingers now votes Liberal?
Did Kath ever forgive Jenny for the Twisties incident?
Cooley got married? Really?
