This multi-award winning play of sexual passion and betrayal, charts its characters' actions through nearly four years. Alice, a young stripper, falls in love with suburban journalist Dan. Then Dan meets Anna, a photographer, and brings her together with Larry, a young consultant dermatologist. In Jack McKenzie's directorial debut, Fresh Bred Productions is proud to present Closer, the Tony Award-nominated play which was adapted into to an Academy Award-nominated film in 2004. This community theatre production of Closer will be presented on the main stage at Koorliny Arts Centre in February 2014 (6 shows) With an original score written by Kohan Van Sambeeck The play features a tight cast of just 4 actors and we are seeking expressions of interest in auditions for all of these roles. -Dan, Male, Writer, Late 20s -Alice, Female, Stripper, Early 20s -Larry, Male, Doctor, 30s -Anna, Female, Photographer, 30s (Ages are stage-age and we will audition and consider actors who are outside of these ages.
