Droolin Banjo's KADS

Johnny Grim's latest one act comedy ('Droolin Banjo's')will join two other plays as part of KADS one act season. The dates of which are the 30th and 31st August and the 6th an 7th September. Note: The play may also be entered into the local one act festivals pending cast availability / and we meet the deadlies for entry. Cast details are as follows: Stevie Wyatt Male: age: 30-35 Candy Wyatt Female: age: 30-35 Billy Wyatt Male: age: 13-14 Dwight Wyatt Male: age: 12-13 Elvis Wyatt Male: age: 11-12 Laura-May Wyatt Female: age: 10-11 Hailey-Jo Wyatt Female: age: 8-9 Synopsis... Stevie Wyatt is heading back to prison. No real surprisea in that fact. Having failed the pre-sentence psychological assessment, Stevie is left in the hands of one of the prison’s newly employed councillors. Surprisingly, this chance meeting turns out to be a blessing in disguise, with the councillor pointing out ways in which Stevie might change his criminal ways, and at the same time, deter his kids from following in his footsteps. Audition Requirements 1: Obviously the cast members must demonstrate a fine line in Redneck /Hhillbilly twang. Ya'll have chance to demonstrate your fine abilities at the audition. 2: For the younger members of the cast, permission for you to take part will be sought from your folks. 3: A good dose of enthusiasm never done anyone any harm... we don't mind you sticking your hand up if you ain't never been on stage before now..we can teach ya'll to look stupid..that is is if you need a hand to do so...
