KIDZ ACT is proud to present its first play for our 2013 Season: Peter Pan. We are searching for actors aged 5-19 to take part in recreating an uplifting and magical story. ABOUT KIDZ ACT Kidz Act is a children's semi-professional theatre company providing young people the opportunity to learn and experience live theatre! Taking part in this program gives all members the opportunity to train in their craft as well as performing in a large-scale production. All auditionees are sent audition material to present at their audition. HURRY - PLACES GO QUICK! THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT: * AUDITIONS: Auditions are open to ages 5 - 19 at time of performance and are held on 23rd & 24th March 2013. * CALLBACKS: If callbacks are required (a second audition), these will take place on Monday 25th March 2013. * PERFORMANCES: Performances will take place 21st - 30th June 2013 at CLAYTON THEATRETTE. * REHEARSALS: Rehearsals will take place once a week on Saturday's between 10:00am - 1:00pm. Rehearsals begin 6th April 2013. * ACCEPTANCE: Acceptance into the production and program is through an audition/application and a LETTER OF OFFER from the Director. * VENUE: Auditions and rehearsals will take place at our DONCASTER STUDIO. * FEES: The Dramatic Theatre Program fees are $250.00 per child, which covers all rehearsal materials, costumes, lessons and a DVD of the production. * UNIFORM: All KIDZ ACT students are required to wear "theatre blacks" in tradition with performing. This is: black pants, black shoes and the KIDZ ACT branded T-shirt (can be purchased at rehearsals for $33.00). * COSTUMES: Costumes are included in the fees. Parents are not required to make/purchase/hire costumes. Hosiery and footware may need to be provided by parents. * ENSEMBLE ONLY ROLES: Auditions are NOT required for children who wish to take on an ENSEMBLE only role (non-speaking) role.
