Pirates of Penzance

The Pirates of Penzance tells the story of Frederic who, having reached his 21st year, has concluded his long apprenticeship to a band of 'tender-hearted' pirates. Now a free man, he leaves for greener pastures and instantly falls in love with Mabel, one of the daughters of a British Army Major-General. All is well until a sudden twist of fate sees Frederic having to choose between love and his 'sense of duty' to his former pirate colleagues. Full of larger-than-life characters (The Pirate King and his loyal pirate band, the Major-General and his beautiful daughters, the elderly, erring nursemaid Ruth, and the timid, bumbling policemen), Pirates will take you on a hilarious journey with wonderful music and action aplenty.
