"Fish Out of Water"

This uproarious comedy is set in the romantic atmosphere of a sundrenched hotel on the Italian Riviera, where the peace of the holidaymakers is shattered by the arrival of a loud, outspoken widow, Agatha Hepworth, and her timid, spinster sister, Fiona Francis. Agatha, rosy and beaming, crushes all protests as she rounds up the hotel guests into communal games and joint enterprises of every kind. Her unflagging spirit of togetherness invades the private lives of all the characters with riotous results, and when Fiona disappears she organizes them all into a countrywide search. Characters: Brigadier Hubback, Mrs. Hubback, Marisa, Dora Cowley, Agatha Hepworth, Fiona Francis, Mr. Mallett, Julian Whittle, Len Barrett - various ages. Auditions are by appointment between 7 and 10 pm. on 21 Feb 2013, and there will be a reading of the play at the same venue and time on 14 Feb. 2013.
