AUDITIONS - "Mine" by Jane Bodie

This year we are producing two major productions with professional and emerging professional directors, designers and production staff. 'Mine' by Jane Bodie (currently head of playwrighting at NIDA) was written for the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain and produced in London in 2009.'Mine' will be rehearsing evenings and weekends in March, April and May, and will be produced at the Subiaco Arts Centre in June. WAYTCo has secured the rights for the Australian premiere and seek 16 actors between the ages of 13 and 26 to be cast in this ensemble production directed by Renato Fabretti (who directed Dennis Kelly's DNA at the Subiaco Arts Centre in 2010), fresh from his directors course at NIDA in Sydney. Auditionees must be WAYTCo members. These will be group auditions in a workshop format. Prepare a short (2 minute) monologue, and be willing to perform the monologue to the group.
