Cast Auditions for Jekyll and Hyde

ARC Theatre is proud to announce its upcoming production of ‘Jekyll & Hyde’ which is set to be one of the most exciting productions to be seen on the Victorian stage in 2012. Jekyll & Hyde is a musical based on the novella Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson. The original stage conception was by Steve Cuden and Frank Wildhorn. The music is by Wildhorn and the lyrics and book are by Leslie Bricusse. Book your audition today! AUDITION REQUIREMENTS: Auditionees are required to prepare two contrasting excerpts of songs to perform in their initial audition. For more information regarding the vocal audition. Please provide clearly legible sheet music in the correct key or a backing track – no transpositions or a-capella singing will be accepted. If auditioning for Jekyll/Hyde, Emma, Lucy, and/or Utterson, you will be asked to learn a monologue, please choose only one of the provided monologues to present. Please familiarise yourself with it before the audition. If auditioning for Chorus (Ensemble), you are not required to prepare a monologue. Please be prepared to demonstrate a British accent. (A cold read will be provided for you). Please make sure that you also bring a completed audition form and a non returnable headshot when you come in for your audition.
