Actors required for Theatre In Education Ensemble

Page to Stage is in the process of adding to their ensemble of actors for our 2012 Theatre in Education program. The shows planned will be Shakespeare’s The Tempest [available to schools all year] and Macbeth [available to schools April – December] The ensemble will be a group of 10 actors who can perform in both adaptations. We will be offering full productions, excerpts and workshops to schools. Location: Based in the South/Eastern suburbs Melbourne Commitment / Salary: Actors will be notified of a gig at least 6 weeks in advance. Rehearsal period will be approximately 65 hours and where possible will be planned around actor’s availability. Rehearsals will be held in a number of venues in the south east suburbs. Each performance is profit share arrangement amongst company, cast and production team. All actors are asked to arrive at the first rehearsal with lines down. Who: We require males and females over the age of 18. Audition Date & Time: Sunday 15th January Preparation: Actors are required to prepare a 2-3 minute monologue from any Shakespearean play.
