If you wish to cold read you may just turn up on the day but I would prefer you to be prepared.
Psychological Thriller / Jet Black Comedy.
This is a fantastic script and very challenging in many ways.
Very nitty gritty, grits and meaty. Something to really sink your teeth into.
The characters have many levels and layers.
The story leads the audience to question their reality. What is, what isn’t, who is, who isn’t, what can you trust to be true? Surely if you can see it, touch it, hear it, it must be true.
Although this psychological thriller trans-mutates against a backdrop of perceived reality there is a scrumptious peppering of jet black comedy to liven the tastebuds.
Main Characters: 2 Males, 1 Female.
All stage ages: Late 40’s to early 50’s.
All characters to do a British Accents
Minor non-speaking cast/backstage: 1 Male, 2 either.
Mark Styler is a writer of ‘true crime ‘stories who arrives at Fairfields hospital for the criminally insane intent on interviewing a notorious serial killer, Easterman, for his upcoming novel. He meets Dr. Farquhar, the hospital director; however things don't seem quite right. Dr. Farquhar‘s assistant Nurse Plimpton seems frightened of something. Styler’s fight for a story may be his last. Suspense, intrigue, twists and turns and a question of sanity, all served with a scrumptious peppering of jet black comedy. Who is the mysterious Bronson? Where did he get the meat in the fridge? And why isn’t the skeleton in the closet?
“Don’t forget to Breathe”
