Thanks ** AUDITIONS ARE BEING HELD FOR KIDZ ACT'S SECOND PRODUCTION, "The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe" Journey into C.S. Lewis' award winning story, written and adapted by Joseph Robinette (Award Winning Playright) as KIDZ ACT recreates the magic of Narnia for the stage in a full length 2 act dramatisation. AUDITION INFORMATION ** Auditions are open to children ages 6 - 16 ** Auditions, Rehearsals and the Production will be in Doncaster, SE. Lewis' classic, set in the land of Narnia, faithfully recreates the magic and mystery of Aslan, the great lion, his struggle with the White Witch, and the adventures of four children who inadvertently wander from an old wardrobe into the exciting, never-to-be-forgotten Narnia. The intense action features chases, duels and escapes as the witch is determined to keep Narnia in her possession and to end the reign of Aslan. All the memorable episodes from the story are represented in this exciting dramatization: the temptation of Edmund by the witch, the slaying of the evil wolf by Peter, the witnessing of Aslan's resurrection by Susan and Lucy, the crowing of the four new rulers of Narnia, and more. The supporting characters are also here: the unicorn, the centaur and other forest animals, along with Father Christmas, Mr. and Mrs. Beaver and Tumnus the Faun. This story of love, faith, courage and giving, with its triumph of good over evil, is a true celebration of life. PETER.............................The eldest of the four children. SUSAN.............................Wise and sincere. EDMUND............................Wants to be accepted by his brother. LUCY..............................The youngest of the four children. MR & MRS BEAVER...................Forest Animals. UNICORN & CENTAUR.................Forest Animals who help the children. TUMNUS............................A Faun. FENRIS ULF........................A wolf and head of the Witch’s secret police. DWARF.............................A servant to the Witch. FATHER CHRISTMAS..................A bringer of gifts. Small Role. ELF...............................Father Christmas’ helper. Small Role. WHITE STAG........................NON SPEAKING ROLE. Appears on stage a lot. EXTRAS: ASLAN’S FOLLOWERS.................Forest Animals in support of Aslan. WITCH’S ARMY......................Evil villains who support the Witch. ** While the extras don’t speak, these roles involve a lot of presence on the stage.
